Tommy Byrnes

Tommy Byrnes, best known as Billy Joel’s lead guitarist, has been playing with Billy Joel’s band since 1990. He also served as musical director and guitarist for the 2002 Broadway musical, “Movin’ Out.” Other notable artists with whom Tommy has played include Bo Diddley, Stray Cats, Brian Setzer, Joan Jett, Taylor Dayne, and Enrique Inglesias, to name a few. In 2018, Tommy was inducted by Billy Joel into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
