Jimmy “Canno” Cannizzaro
Jimmy “Canno” Cannizzaro is best known for owning Canno’s Swiss Tavern in Lynbrook, NY, from 1992-2007. Under his leadership, Canno’s became a hotspot for live music in Long Island. Band/musicians that graced the stage at Canno’s include Alan Parsons, Jack Bruce, Christopher Cross, Denny Laine, Tommy Byrnes, and Godfrey Townsend, to name a few. Jimmy has also dabbled in the acting world, with appearances on Law & Order and Canterbury’s Law, as well as the Robert DeNiro movie, The Comedian. Jimmy has worked security at Gotham Comedy Club since 2010, and has also been a proud member of the Friars Club since 2010.
Jimmy is happily married to Jenna Esposito since 2016 and has enjoyed working on this project with Jenna, her father Fortune, and engineer-extraordinaire, Chip Fabrizi.
